剧组从导演徐超到几位男女主演都是上世纪八十年代生人，女主角淑惠的扮演者今年还不到20岁。男主角梁栋是个地地道道的青岛人，片中的对话也有不少青岛方言。这些年轻人希望通过影片让更多的人了解80后一代的生活状态。。Young Jim Hawkins, while running the Benbow Inn with his mother, meets Captain Billy Bones, who dies at the inn while it is besieged by buccaneers led by Blind Pew. Jim and his mother fight off the attackers and discover Billy Bones' treasure map for which the buccaneers had come.
