在法国的一个偏远乡村，莱曼家族经营着一个化工厂，不过化工厂正面临着关闭的命运。在这风雨飘摇的时刻，莱曼家族似乎矛盾重重。内森（Grégoire Colin 饰）是莱曼家的女婿，如今他的爱人克莱尔（Bérénice Bejo 饰）怀有身孕，可是各种各样的烦心事让他们很难面对这一切。某天，莱曼家的父亲尼古拉斯（François Levantal 饰）被野兽攻击，身上留有严重的伤痕。为了除掉祸害人的野兽，莱曼家的男人带着枪支结伴进入丛林狩猎。在这里，他们见到了极其恐怖的一幕，田野间四处散落着动物溃败病变的尸体。 不祥的预感在这几名狩猎者的心中升起，他们也慢慢从猎人变成了猎物……。A group of young offenders are delivered to an island for a week of character building exercises after one of their fellow inmates commits suicide.. It all goes horribly wrong when they realise that there′s someone else on the island who has a pack of dogs and a crossbow with which to hunt them down.。
