This movie depicts the authentic story of the hunt for the dangerous criminal Emile Buisson, who escaped from prison in 1947. During three years Buisson manages to hide from detective Borniche by repeatedly killing his informants. When he's finally caught with help from the little criminal Paul, Buisson will have committed more than 100 robberies and killed 30 people.。阿狄（谭耀文 饰）和阿祖（陈小春 饰）是从小玩到大的好友，彼此之间友谊十分深厚。长大之后，两人均加入了黑社会组织，为老大卖命。在一次刺杀行动中，阿狄和阿祖一伙人遭到了警方的伏击，阿狄逃出生天，阿祖却被抓获沦为阶下囚。 在监狱里，阿祖深刻的反省了自己之前的所作所为，洗心革面，决定做个好人。出狱后，凭借着在狱中学习到的一手好厨艺，阿祖成为了一名厨师，并且结识了名为阿珊（应采儿 饰）的女子。美丽的阿珊很快就吸引了阿祖的注意，使阿祖坠入了爱河，与此同时，已经成为帮派骨干的阿狄找到了阿祖，希望他能够再度和自己并肩作战。。
