Jess and Andrea are hiking in the Scottish Highlands. But their adventure holiday turns sinister when Andrea disappears after a chance encounter with two men at a pub – leaving Jess to search for her friend in a place she doesn’t know and where the locals are less than helpful. Is there something sinister at work in the peaceful countryside?。白石咲和子（吉永小百合饰）是在东京急诊中心工作的医生，因为一起医疗诉讼事件，白石选择了离开自己心爱的工作岗位，回到了老家金泽，在那里，白石进入了当地的福地诊所工作，结识了主治医生仙川彻（西田敏行饰）和护士长星野麻世（广濑铃饰）。 和急诊中心的工作不同，在这个小诊所里，麻世提倡采用尊重患者生活方式的治疗方法，这给从来都是非生即死的白石带来了很大的震撼。之后，医学专业毕业的野吕圣二（松坂桃李饰）也来到了这里，追随着白石，成为了诊所里的一员，他想在实习的期间弄清楚，自己是否真的有觉悟成为一名医生。。
