With help from ...。许忠信（万梓良饰）和洛素珊（林其欣饰）原本过着平静的生活，但在面对九七问题时，忠信不得不独自前往澳洲。在异国他乡，他结识了大陆青年向东（吴镇宇饰），两人在生疏环境中成为了亲密的朋友。然而，由于一些意外，向东被押回港，而忠信回港后发现妻子与前度男友复燃旧情，夫妻陷入感情危机。 与此同时，安靖和许忠诚因纠纷认识，但受感情阴影影响只能保持朋友关系。另一方面，向东为了谋取表姨妈谢西西的绿卡而欺骗她，搞笑情节不断发生。同时，侯世杰为了复仇，以为忠信主使，决心雪此辱。这一系列错综复杂的感情纠葛和喜剧元素共同构成了这个生动的故事。。
