星战系列将推出新动画《星球大战：抵抗组织》(Star Wars Resistance)，这部剧集已经在制作中，讲述《星战7》故事之前，年轻的抵抗组织飞行员Kazuda Xiono接到绝密任务，要去刺探第一秩序的情报。BB-8、Poe Dameron、Captain Phasma等人气角色将亮相，后两位的演员奥斯卡·伊萨克和Gwendoline Christie也将为相应角色配音。制作团队则包括《星球大战：克隆战争》和《星球大战:义军崛起》等星战动画的很多团队成员，主创是卢卡斯老员工Dave Filoni，该剧预计今年秋天在Disney Channel和Disney XD播出。。Through this film our aim is to promote the fascinating personality of Nikos Kazantzakis, as well as the enchanting scenery of Greece that molded him into the man he became. This is exactly what the director is planning to achieve with this film| His journeys to Germany, Austria, Russia...。凯伦•特尼（Lori Heuring 饰）的丈夫长久以来饱受病痛折磨，最终不治身亡。失去经济来源的凯伦，只好带着两个女儿：莎拉（Scout Taylor-Compton 饰）和艾玛（Chloe Moretz 饰）搬到宾西法尼亚州艾迪镇的卡顿矿山，一幢在她丈夫名下的房子里居住。 本想逃避伤心往事平淡地生活，然而厄运却挥之不去。卡顿矿山1913年的时候，曾发生过一起严重的瓦斯爆炸事故，许多幼小的童工被活埋于此，从此幼童的恶灵便徘徊附近，报复加害人类。不久，艾玛神秘消失，凯伦不愿再失去女儿，她和莎拉踏上了寻找艾玛的险恶路途……。
