The scientist...。美丽聪慧的桧山冬实（仲间由纪惠 饰），是圣卡洛琳娜综合医院脑外科的主治医生，她拥有高超的医术，尤其是针对脑外科疑难之症病毒动脉轮闭塞症，拥有一套独特的对治方法。某天，不幸罹患这一病症的少女伊原沙耶香前来求助。为了治好女孩，为医院创出名气，院方为桧山配备了最精良的手术团队。介绍沙耶香来医院的医疗协调员中原永远子（濑户朝香 饰）虽然因过往种种而对桧山心存芥蒂，但面对这名脑外科专家精湛的技艺仍不得不表示敬佩。可未过多久，沙耶香病情突然恶化，最终撒手人寰。为了查出原因，桧山打算调取手术录像，却发现录像DVD失窃，硬盘数据被删除。似乎有人在暗中摧毁关于桧山以及圣卡洛琳娜医院的一切…… 本片根据秦建日子的原作改编。。
