1962年夏天，麦收时节，地主佟善田（佟大方 饰）暗中散布谣言蒋介石要回来了，当时正值蒋介石叫嚣反攻大陆时期，谣言在部分落后社员心中引起波动。饲养员庆奎（李宝岩 饰）与妇女主任玉芳（魏喜奎 饰）向队长玉柱（黄坚 饰）建议撤掉佟善田的车把式职务，并告诉他老地主向儿子传授变天账，玉柱听后将信将疑，他以生产太忙为田不肯撤换佟善田。支部会批评了玉柱的错误思想，由庆奎接手赶车任务，佟怀恨在心，他唆使二赖子（王凤朝 饰）在桥头扛打辕马，企图制造车毁人亡事故。关健时刻武装部长（刘文增 饰）带民兵及时赶到，查明原因，逮捕了佟善田，并查清了他十三年前杀害贫协主席的罪行......。Murdoch is in Bristol, England, with no memory of who he is and two gunmen chasing him through the streets. With the help of a local pub Landlady he starts to piece together an assassination plot. In Toronto Detective Hamish Sloack is assigned to help find the missing Murdoch.。Series 3 (2002) The third and final series focused on a different character each week but with the overlaps creating a more complex layering of the plot, more akin to a one-off episode of a situation comedy (albeit with intertwined plots) than a traditional sketch show.
