John Ellman (Boris Karloff) has been framed for murder by a gang of racketeers. He is unfairly tried and despite the fact that his innocence has been proven, he is sent to the electric chair and executed. Dr. Evan Beaumont (Edmund Gwenn) retrieves his dead body and revives it, as part of his experiments to reanimate a dead body and discover what happens to the soul after death....。象牙山村里成立了“大龄青年婚姻理事会”，主要聚焦大龄单身青年的婚恋问题，刘能、广坤等人积极地帮忙牵绳搭线。理事会成立的本意是怀着撮合有情人终成眷属的美好愿景，众人齐心协力只为帮助屯里单身青年脱单，然而却闹出了“棒打鸳鸯”、“拉郎配”等等一系列令人啼笑皆非的笑话。。
