The film was restored from the original print kept at the Indonesian Cinematheque. Special thanks to the family of Usmar Ismail.。江南发现了一座古墓，为了破解古墓的墙壁上的奇怪的文字和图形，考古队请来了考古博士刘晓鸥和画家庄孟辰参加破译，随着工作的展开，一幅深埋地下2000多年的爱情故事被破译出来，而这个古老爱情故事的结局在刘晓鸥与庄孟辰的深情对视中得到了答案。。かわぐちかいじの同名マンガを映画化した「沈黙の艦隊」の続編にあたる物語が後半で紡がれる。。
