恶搞近年来的伪纪录恐怖片如《鬼影实录》系列《最后一次驱魔》《心中的恶魔》等影片。与《鬼影实录》同样采用伪纪录片风格的拍摄方式，剧情更是基本复制了《鬼影实录》：一对年轻夫妇搬进新家，谁知这竟是一间凶宅，妻子遭遇鬼附身，男主人（马龙·韦恩斯饰）于是请来各路神仙驱魔，试图挽救自己的幸福生活，或者说“性”福生活。影片其实并非仅仅恶搞了《鬼影实录》，前年北美大卖的另一部伪纪录恐怖片《驱魔》也未能幸免马尔科姆和姬莎是一对年轻的新婚夫妻，他们刚刚搬到了一栋新的房子里，这栋房子是他们梦寐以求的，宽敞、舒适。但是事情却没有他们想的那么简单。。一半温柔，一半狂野，两个不同风格的音乐人将奇妙邂逅。。This season began merely two whole weeks after the first season had ended, on April 19, 2008, with the airing of "The Elite Guard", and ended on July 5, 2008, with the two-parter, "A Bridge Too Close".
