On a tramway that connects several of Jerusalem's neighborhoods from East to West, a mosaic of people from different religious and ethnic backgrounds are brought together。剧本来自剧中人物夏祖林的日记《可怜天下父母心》，本剧描述了现实中15岁就患脊髓小脑运动变异症，到最后26岁时候开始不能说不能动的夏祖林的前半生所经历，在这段经历中父母的苦心孤诣，还有亲人的陪伴。。
