民国初年，民不聊生，社会混乱，各方势力为铲除异己，肆意杀伐。其中欧大帅作为最大势力，戾气累积之下走上邪门歪道路数，供奉起邪神女魅。女魅分析天下大势，若能寻得上古火种“九幽烈火”，便可高枕无忧，而其中关键人物，正是马小七......。John Kent (Randolph Scott), a former star football player at Harvard, goes to Paris with his friend Huck Haines (Fred Astaire) and the latter's dance band, the Wabash Indianians.
