台湾某私立大学拳击社因人气低迷，正面临这被学校关闭的命运。该社的教练也将就此失业，这令教练的女儿——同时也是拳击社的女经理人——丁小葵（郭采洁 饰）忧心忡忡。万人迷社长赵大杰（彭于晏 饰）虽然身有旧伤，却仍决定全力拼搏，在选拔赛上取得优异成绩，同时也为了却心中夙愿。 正值此时，两名大陆学生转到这所学校。男孩陈家翔（明道 饰）是北京综合大学拳击队前主将，曾取得全国大赛的冠军，却因一场车祸留下头疼的后遗症，从此与拳击绝缘；女孩迟姗姗（苑新雨 饰）拉的一手优美的小提琴，同时也是家翔的粉丝。在小葵和珊珊的激励下，家乡决定走回拳台。青春男女为了各自的理想挥洒汗水……。1930年，上海商业银行董事长李南星为挫败日本人的商业掠夺，大量放贷支持民族企业。日本驻上海特务机关荷花会头目为搞垮银行，利用养女凤荷与李南星的私仇，派风荷暗杀了李南星的妻儿。李南星不畏强暴，借贷了五百万美元，继续支持民族企业。 风荷雇佣职业杀手周小龙抢夺五百万美元。私人侦探西门健与警官叶惠章为此展开联合追查，逐步发现了日本人的阴谋和周小龙的足迹。周小龙在情人苏丽娜、歌女黄玫瑰的帮助下屡次逃脱。但是，还是让西门健在追捕中遇到了周小龙，却意外地发现两人的长相十分相象…… 围绕着五百万美元的得失，和一对正邪两立的孪生兄弟的爱恨情愁，淋漓尽致地折射出人性的正直与虚伪，善良与邪恶。 上海国际商业银行董事长李南星为挫败日本人的商业掠夺，大量放贷支持民族企业。但先是其妻子被离奇撞死，接着儿子被暗杀，女儿李召南也屡次遇险，同时有人放风商业银行即将破产，客户争先提款...。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
