The film presents the basic tenets of the Paleo movement through the eyes of various characters who have adopted the lifestyle.。物語はヒロイン・歌姫のひとり、シェリル・ノームのマクロス・フロンティア船団来訪に始まり、おおむねテレビ版第7話までの展開をたどるが、テレビ版終盤の要素も多く加わっている。。
