Sofia is a young millionaire heiress who seems to have it all. When she learns of her father's death, she returns to Buenos Aires to contend with an entangled legacy that will expose a dark side of her past。这部彩色纪录片中，介绍了我国传统木偶艺术的基本情况，同时展现了由中国木偶艺术剧团演出的四个节目：1.秧歌舞、2.猪八戒背媳妇、3.蒋干盗书、4.路打不平（雷万春打虎）前两部为李干元、阎凤舞、冷福记、李云鉴等表演的杖头木偶；后两部为杨胜、陈南田表演的闽南布袋木偶……。
