以杂志编辑部为舞台，讲述四十岁出头的编辑长相乐（大东骏介饰），因过于追求自我而被同事疏远，唯一陪伴他的只有爱犬柴犬。走投无路之际，他突发奇想创办“柴犬专门杂志”。然而聚集而来的却是一群怪咖——包括怕狗的编辑石森（饭丰万理江饰）。在混乱中，狗狗以温柔目光化解隔阂，人与人、人与犬之间也渐渐建立起羁绊，是一部描绘令和时代人际关系与治愈之力的温暖群像剧。。The Cold War has ended, and the Russian government has decided get rid of a deadly bioweapon sample by returning it to the United States, from whom it had been stolen. Officer Hendricks has been assigned to pick up the virus sample and escort it back to America via submarine.
