The story of ten-year-old Nori plays out in Kosovo, in Germany, and on the road between the two countries. His father Gezim dominates his entire world, however, one day he leaves for work in the “West” and Nori won’t be placated concerning his sudden disappearance.。出身信州农村的佐竹茂吉与出身上流社会的千金小姐妙子结婚，七、八年的婚姻生活并未弥合二人原本出身的差距，反而因生活习惯的差异使他们之间矛盾丛生。佐竹生活上不修边幅，抽便宜烟，吃茶泡饭，坐三等车厢。妙子受不了丈夫的“低级”生活习惯，时常背着他和学生时代的好友出玩游乐。。
