Even Lovers Get the Blues draws the portrait of the love and sexual lives of disenchanted and passionate young people.。今回の物語は、占拠される半年前に遡る。耕一は、刑事・相模俊介（白洲迅）と共に設計事務所に侵入。界星堂病院の設計図のデータファイルを入手しようとするものの、突然やって来た事務所の職員と警備員に遭遇したことで中断。自分たちは刑事だと述べてその場をごまかした耕一と相模だが、職員らと一緒に乗り込んだエレベーターが途中で止まって閉じ込められてしまう。。
