The story begins with a brief prologue set in the 13th Century, in which a calligrapher is completing a copy of the Koran and his assistant is sent out for ink so he can complete the project before an invading Mongol army attacks....。维和女警杨小荷怀揣着一腔热血来到混乱、落后的维和地区执行任务，在亲眼目睹当地百姓身处水深火热之中、当地黑恶势力四处为非作恶欺压民众之后，杨小荷决心排除万难改变这一切，她凭借机智、英勇、胆量、坚忍将不法分子捉拿归案，解救千百个受迫害的妇女儿童脱离苦海，更让离散的家庭破镜重圆，恢复了当地民众的安宁生活，同时也实现了自我成长。。
