本剧讲述一代女侠黑玫瑰为了家庭而放弃行侠仗义的职责，安心做其家庭主妇，相夫教子。奈何子女们却不了解这个曾经是英雄的母亲，只视她为懦弱怕事、漠视公义的小女子。及后当子女们得悉母亲的过去，才真真正正认识这个母亲、明白母亲的一片苦心。。Dr. Braun is forbidden to practice medicine because he's a Jew living in Nazi occupied Czechoslovakia. He's old, seems resigned about the fate of the Jews, and even works in the Department of Confiscation of Jewish Property. One day a neighbor asks him to assist a wounded political fugitive.
