钟馗，传说中的唐朝状元，才华出众，武艺超群，但因相貌丑陋被皇帝免去状元头衔，钟馗羞愤难当撞死于大殿之中。因其人刚烈正直，被玉皇大帝封为伏魔帝君。由于在阴间举报阎王贪赃枉法，被阎王怀恨在心，一心想除掉钟馗，于是篡改钟馗的好友柳楷的生死簿来逼迫钟馗就范。钟馗、柳楷、欧阳一清三友互相协作和阎王展开一场阴间和阳间的正义之战。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
