《开播吧，青年》是一档实验性主播成长真人秀。20位青年主播齐聚4层金字塔实验基地，在主理人团队的带领下，通过公益直播与四大关卡的层层考验，展开为期40天的挑战，最终选拔出3位新时代优秀青年主播。。Set in 1989, Jake (Harmon), an out-of-work photojournalist who struggles with addiction and a troubled past, takes a job as watchman of a wilderness lodge on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, alongside veteran handyman Sparky (Granger). Jake sets up a darkroom to develop the photos he shoots, which begin to reveal disturbing premonitions of their future.。
