该片改编自中岛京子的同名小说，讲述老人东升平患上阿尔兹海默症之后，家人如何照料他以及每位家庭成员如何克服各自生活难题的故事。。妈妈秀京（杨末福饰）和女儿宜贞（任智户饰）相依为命，但关系并不融洽。与妈妈秀京暴躁的脾气相反，女儿宜贞总是消极处事，做事慢吞吞。二人在超市停车场像往常一样激烈争吵后，秀京的车撞向了宜贞。虽然秀京主张是一场意外，但宜贞坚持认为妈妈是要故意伤害自己，于是她将妈妈秀京告上了法庭。这场叛乱标志着两位女性切断关联的开始。不同的内心却穿着相同内衣的两个女性的世界……。Edwin Antony (Hywel Bennett) is emasculated in an accident which kills a young philanderer.
